On the last Saturday in April, more than 1,500 volunteers and community sponsors gather throughout Southern Nevada to provide home repairs, accessibility modification and energy conservation services for low-income homeowners. Volunteer skill levels range from licensed professional trades people to weekend warriors and everyday citizens, all giving back to their neighbors in need.
Emergency Home Repair:
Throughout the year, critical home repairs such as roofing, electrical and plumbing and other accessibility modifications are completed for low-income Southern Nevada homeowners, utilizing licensed contractors paid by Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada.
Safe At Home:
The primary goal of Safe at Home program is to address home repair and maintenance issues that potentially present a safety risk or limit the access to or within the home of seniors. Projects are selected to match the skill set of the volunteer team and supplemented by skilled trade professionals as required.
HEROES At Home:
Sears Holdings created the annual partnership with Rebuilding Together in response to an urgent need to address home rehabilitation needs of military families facing hardship. Additionally, the volunteer-driven repair program is held throughout the year to assist veterans and families of deployed members of the military.
