Safe AT HOME PROGRAM

Every homeowner wants to feel safe in their home. Safe at Home addresses home repair and maintenance issues that potentially present a safety risk or limit access to or within your home.
Through the Safe AT HOME PROGRAM, Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada provides seniors and disabled individuals with minor structural repairs that address issues that impact the health and safety of everyone in your home including:
• Widen doors to meet ADA standards
• Modify bathrooms to ensure safety
• Grad bars installed and hand rails replaced
• Wheelchair ramps built

To be eligible for emergency repair upgrades, you must:
• Own and live in your house (having a mortgage is okay)
• Live in the City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of North Las Vegas and Clark County
• Meet income requirements according to HUD guidelines*
• Be at least 60, disabled, a veteran, a grandparent raising grandchildren, a caregiver of a disabled or chronically ill family member.
• Be current with your mortgage and real estate taxes.
If you believe you or someone you know is eligible for our program, we encourage you to call our office and one of our project managers will walk you through the application process.
